Need help plz, with upload mod...English only

wow guys, didn't u think that there is english visitors that would like to use the forums, i had seriously hard time to register, i was actuly like a blind man but i made it.

well here is my problem, i rlly wanted to use the upload mod and i installed it & i can see it in my admin panal, and all the panals r working when i press on them, i can see the configurations, setting users who can upload files etc but 1 tiny problem dunno what causes it.

when i go to any topic to reply or when i try to make a new topic, i get this error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting ')' in /home/core/public_html/gdc/posting.php on line 1073

dunno what causes this error but plz someone gimme help asap cos no one can make new topics or reply cos of that & i won't reload the forum & undo my work unless this problem couldn't be fixed so i am waiting ur answer if it won't work for me then i will load my backup.

EDIT: i just discovered something, when i pressed on someone nickname to send him PM (Private MSG) i saw the upload button then i press on it & it opened a tiny window to upload the image in it so i pressed on browse & choose an image randomly, i got this problem at every image i choosed.

The datatype image/bmp is not supported.
The datatype image/jpeg is not supported.
The datatype image/gifis not supported.

it only worked at the PM but when i press new topic or post reply it gives me the error i explained to u about above but at the PM it worked but i dunno how can i allow this formats so ppl can upload pics with this formats, would be kind of someone also explain this to me.
