General Error: UploadPic & UploadPic recent in admin pan

I had a few issues with the installation but only have two small problems left. I am receiving this message
General Error
An Error Occurred

...when I click on UploadPic and UploadPic recent in the admin panel. I have read through all 25pages of this thread and here are the fixes that I have achieved since initial installation...


1. updated the database for the user and groups
2. created the /userpix directory in phpbb2 root directory and chmod 777

The only issue is no access to the
-admin_uploadpic.php
-admin_uploadpic_latest.php

I have looked through the FAQ and the actual beeForum.
Please tell me what and where to correct this issue, if someone has resolved this. Also I tried to reupload the install file to see if I rerun the install script if it will catch the errors. The files mentioned above are in the admin folder as they are suppose to be.

Does anyone have a few minutes to answer my question here? I installed this mod and there are only two issues left to be resolved in my post. Doesnt look like I can figure this one out on my own. Please advise if you know how to fix this issue or point me in the right direction regarding the two issues mentioned... maybe the code or steps to address in the files specific to those pages!!!

I apologize for any inconvenience, but I have a deadline to complete a web project for someone else. In order to complete the project, I need to fix the errors on this install. Please note that I reviewed all the FAQ's and threads (that were in English) and only found answers related to the admin_user_allow etc. *which I fixed on my own before I found the answer in the phpBB forum*. I truly have confidence that you will get the job done and let me know how to resolve this in a timely manner.

Please assist at your earliest convenience.

Does the "general error" give you a line-number ?

Are you sure, PHP-scripts can access the file-system ?
(That would be a server-config-issue, don't ask me, how to solve that.)
