Hey there,

After installing, everything seems to work fine until I click to view the post. When I do, I get the following error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in /home/public_html/forums/includes/bbcode.php(223) : regexp code on line 1 

Fatal error: preg_replace(): Failed evaluating code: <img src="http://www.mysite.com/forums/userpix/2_IMG_1619_3.jpg" border="0" /> in /home/public_html/forums/includes/bbcode.php on line 223

Line 223 of bbcode.php is:

$text = preg_replace($patterns, $replacements, $text);

I've tried commenting that line out, and when I view the post, the pictures doesn't render, just shows for example

[IMG:1234]www.imageurl[/IMG:1234]

Any ideas? Help would be MUCH appreciated.

Obviously some other MOD changed the file bbcode.php as UploadPic does not require changes in this file - or you have a "non-original" phpBB running (e.g. a "pre-modded" version).

You will have to check for those changes to solve the problem, but I can't tell you anything about that from here as there are millions of MODs that can make as many changes to the software.
All I can say is that I have not heard about a problem like that or any MOD that interferes with UploadPic.
